The first line of this song never leaves me alone. I don't know the whole song, so I sang along to the Muse cover karaoke. I also took advantage of the fact that I'm dressed up to go out.

I really love my internet friends.
I hate saying "internet friends" because most of my "internet friends" are in my "real life" in at least one way or another.
That was a lot of quotey quotes!
I am feeling a little sentimental tonight I suppose. :)

Yeah.
We're going to do a little last-minute Chrimbo shopping this morn. We're going to McCook, Nebraska tomorrow. Woo. I should look that up as to where it is exactly, because I am not sure. Not sure at all.
So I am loading up on massive amounts of COFFEE.

Hey dudes,
I helped booked and am going on tour this winter with The Strikeouts for a week. They're a skacore band from south Florida. If we're coming to your area please hang out!
It'd also be nice if you gave us some feedback on the bands or venues because most of us have never been to any of these places!

Even though we still need to get Holiday Festive Extreme Cards mailed out, we are going to watch this guy
do his thang tonight! Apparently he has a special announcement for us all. De plus, we are watching his Food-ing on our friends', Jeff and Bridget, big-ass TV. Its gonna make me hungry and excited.
I read almost all of Breakfast at Tiffany's today at Lovejoy's. Seth and I went there for lunch after going to the library, and then Seth had to leave for a work thingy. I figured I may as well stay downtown so he wouldn't have to go all the way to our house and then out to work. It was a sweet deal. I drank pumpkin beers and got my read on. I even inspired an older fellow to do the same.
While at lunch, I ordered an epic Cream of Mushroom soup. I need to make this myself now. Do you know of a great recipe for Cream of Mushroom soup, or any mushroom soup? It is the perfect winter chow, srsly.

It's a party c'mon, lighten up a little bit. We're going to need champagne for $250 people and please send the stuff that you send to me, don't send the stuff that I send to other people.
You know its not to late on Christmas eve to have fun. You can call people you haven't seen. you can call a college roommate you can call an old army buddy. you can call your personal banker...
Hey, I don't hear any partying in that booth Elliot!
Now, Why wasn't I invited!?
I mean, It's a Night..you gotta party hardy Marty. Look at this! Check this out! Woah, don't be so mean. Uh...look t this. There's a rule. There's a tradition that says I have to kiss this girl on this lips. Well, she's just upholding the law. It;s a federal law actually. It's not just a state thing.
Boy, that was very good. But you know what? It wasn't great. There's only been one great. There is a girl that I wish I were with tonight. It;s a girl that I loved a long time ago. A girl that I still love. It's christmas eve...It's not to late...is it? Claire, do you remember...legs around like this then you circle me chanting burning insense? Before we'd begin? Tonight I think we could do this without serious physical...or physiological damage.
(EVERYONE SINGS DECK THE HALLS)
Now how did that happen?! That happened because it;s christmas eve. I'm telling you! I'm not crrraazzzy. It's christmas eve. It's the one night of the year we all act a little nicer we smile a little easier we, we, we...cheer a little more. For a couple of hours out of the whole year we are the people that we always hoped we would be. It's a miracle. It's really sort of a miracle because it happens every christmas eve. And if you waste that miracle, you're gonna burn for it.
I know what I'm talking about. You have to do something. You have to take a chance. You do have to get involved. There are people out there having trouble making their miracle happen. There are people that don't have enough to eat. There are people that are cold. You can go out and say hello to these people. you can take an old blanket out of the closet and say here. You can make them a sandwich and say, oh by the way HERE!
I get it now, if you give then the miracle can happen. It can happen to you!. Its not just the poor and the hungry, it's everybody who;s gotta have this miracle! And it can happen tonight for all of you! If you believe in this spirit thing then the miracle will happen and you'll want it to happen again tomorrow. You won't be one of those bastards who says Christmas is once a year and its a fraud. It's not! It can happen everyday you just gotta want that feeling. And if you like it and you want it. You'll get greedy for it. You'll want it everyday of your life and it can happend to you! I believe in it now. I believe it's gonna happen to me now. I'm ready for it It's great, its a good feeling. It's really better than I've felt in a long time. I'm ready. Have a merry Christmas everyone.
Did I forget something little man?

Yesterday Mitt Matt and I sat in a giant movie theater by ourselves surrounded by popcorn, chocolate covered peanuts, Raisenets and Dr. Pep. I payed for the movie and half of the snacks with quarters. I felt like an eleven year old king.
The movie we watched was Surrogates. It was pretty good. I like old Bruce Willis even though he isn't as snarky and doesn't beat up as many people. He does punch a robot until his face falls off. His face is also covered in blood for half of the movie. That's our Brucey!

For stagecraft, we had to choose an image to paint on a flat. This is my finished flat.

At first, I got really lazy with converting dimensions. Which led me to miscalculate where saturn(and some other things) actually go. But I love my little prince. I really like to paint. I could paint forever.
I also discovered my likeness of building things and my love of painting like Jackson Pollack this semester.

I had one of ( these earlier tonight! )
But then it went away when I stopped at our local Beer Mart to grab Seth and I a beverage. A bunch of my Cool Friends of the Non-Douchey Variety were there purchasing adult beverages too. We chatted and they invited us to a party!
By now it was already 11-ish, so I figured Seth would want to go home and chill after work. But upon scooping him up and informing him of the festive occasion, he was down!
The "party" was pretty quiet. Mostly just hangin' out, drinkin' beers and yammering about whatnot. I saw several buddies I had not seen for ages and Seth took a shot with a nice young man called Ferg. There was a gassy doggie running around and plenty of giggles. And a long conversation about the Pope enjoying Tupac Shakur.
Tonight became a win! Plus it was rad to see Seth out and about. :)
